Champions of Business Success

Champions of Business Success was founded by Karen Wells and Kari Hagensmith when they merged their independently successful training practices.  We are a business coaching and training organization that focuses on tapping the full potential of speakers, authors, business owners and their employees.  We don’t just provide solutions, we provide results!  Success in any business should be a three-prong approach to Business Development, Personal Development and Accountability.

Unfortunately, 82% of businesses are missing one, if not all, of those components.  Our proven coaching processes consistently create remarkable results in sales, marketing, strategic planning, leadership, team productivity, financial operations and overall profit performance.  Our clients receive average increases in their profits of 15% to 85% in as little as 6 weeks!

Karen Wells, also the founder of Success in Sneakers, came from a corporate background and was the prototype for establishing a global coaching franchise where she was named Franchisee of the Year for several years running.  She has worked with thousands of business owners and sales professionals over the past 8 years to significantly increase their profit and productivity.  Throughout her earlier years in the corporate environment and her years as a coach, Karen was always baffled by how much emphasis was placed on expensive dress suits, fancy shoes and luxury cars.  It is her opinion that none of these “things” define success.  Karen focuses on creating solid business planning, systems and people development training programs that work to drive profit to any organization.  Her clients include Togo's, Baskin Robbins, Surewest, Edward Jones, The UPS Store, and General Nutrition Centers (GNC), just to name a few.

Kari Hagensmith, also the founder of Speakers' Secret Weapon, has used speaking engagements as a marketing tool for more than 30 years.  Kari consistently filled rooms with 100 paid attendees in 8 weeks for National Speaker, CPA and Tax Attorney Sandy Botkin with the Tax Reduction Institute.  Also, as a certified goals coach with Success Motivation Institute (SMI), Kari used these same speaking/marketing techniques to fill her coaching programs year after year. She has generated an 80% lead rate for a private college by presenting 6 different programs for high school and college campuses.  Now Kari teaches these proven skills to small business owners and entrepreneurs so they may reach more clients in less time with less effort, allowing them to make more money.  Kari is also the author of a niche book, The Girlfriend Will, a humorous look at those special requests not covered by your typical will.  Ones only a girlfriend should be in charge of when you are gone.  She continues to appear on radio and television to promote her book and speaking events.

Business should be fun and exhilarating, not daunting and exhausting.  While success is defined differently by each individual, it usually boils down to happiness.  Success can be achieved by doing the right things, reaching your goals, creating your desired lifestyle, honoring your team and having fun in the process. Yes, we said HAVING FUN IN THE PROCESS!

We’re not aware of anyone who does all those things, yet still claims that making money isn’t exciting.  Making money is a blast!  There is no need to struggle and fret about business any longer.  Whether your business is just starting out, operating in chaos, or you just want to take it to the next level, we can help!
